With several terminals equipped to handle a large influx of flights, the airport ensures efficient and smooth transitions for all passengers. Changi Airport has four main terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and Terminal 4. Each terminal is designed to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort for passengers, with modern services and facilities.

  • Terminal 1: Serves several international airlines and has plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment areas.

  • Terminal 2: after a major renovation, it welcomes flights from several airlines.

  • Terminal 3: known for its eco-sustainable and innovative facilities, it hosts flights from many Asian and global airlines.

  • Terminal 4: The latest, with state-of-the-art technology for check-in and automated security checks that enhance the passenger experience.

The terminals are connected by an efficient internal transport system: the T1, T2 and T3 areas are connected by Skytrain and pedestrian walkways, while T4 can be reached in a few minutes thanks to a 24-hour shuttle. This, together with services such as JetQuay (VIP terminal), ensures fast, comfortable and safe transits.

But what makes Changi truly unique is its soul as a "destination airport", a place where transiting is a memorable experience. One of its distinctive elements is Jewel, an iconic complex in the center of the airport that blends nature, shopping and leisure. Jewel is home to the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, surrounded by lush indoor forest, the Forest Valley which extends over 5 floors and houses thousands of tropical plants. On the top level is the Canopy Park with recreation areas, suspension bridges and themed gardens.

Transportation to and from Singapore Changi Airport
Train (MRT)

The airport is served by the East-West MRT line in the direction of Tanah Merah. You need to get off at Tanah Merah MRT Station and take the dedicated shuttle to Changi Airport MRT Station, which is located between Terminals 2 and 3 and directly connects the terminals to the metro infrastructure. The service operates at regular times throughout the day.

Bus

The arrival areas of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected to the city by numerous public buses (lines 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110, 858), while lines 24, 34, 36 and 110 can also be used from Terminal 4. Buses depart from the basement bays of the terminals and accept electronic payments via contactless cards, digital wallets, or local EZ-Link/NETS FlashPay cards.

Private shuttle and special services

Thanks to the Ground Transport Concierge, you can book private vehicles - such as 4 or 6 seater cars - with fixed rates (approximately SGD 55 for 4-seater cars, SGD 60 for 6-seater cars). The service also includes dedicated shuttles to the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) for SGD 4 per person, available from 12:00 to 19:30.

Taxi and car with driver (ride-hailing)

Taxis are available at taxi ranks in the arrivals areas of each terminal, with metered fare and airport surcharges. You can also book limousines or taxis through the terminal's Ground Transport Concierge. In addition, there is also a wide range of ride-hailing services (e.g. Grab) with dedicated pick-up points.

Car rental desks are located in the arrivals halls of all terminals, allowing you to pick up a vehicle directly on arrival and set off on your own to your desired destination. Among the car rental companies at the airport in Changi are Avis, lylo, myCarriage and Sixt Rent a Car.
