easyJet relaunches 'Fearless Flyer' course to overcome fear of flying
Experiential flights at seven UK airports and a comprehensive programme to help the anxious take to the skies, with a success rate of over 95%
easyJet's Fearless Flyer course, designed to help people with a fear of flying, returns this month. The course includes experiential flights to seven airports in the UK, including Northern Ireland. Since 2012, more than 12,000 people with aerophobia have successfully completed the course, which boasts a success rate of more than 95%.
The programme, led by easyJet's senior pilots and a phobia expert, is structured in three phases:
- an online course in which an easyJet captain explains the sensations during the flight,
- a pre-flight session where participants meet the course team,
- an hour-long experiential flight during which they can put into practice the techniques learned.
The course is accessible at a competitive price starting from £89 per person.
Upcoming dates and venues include London Gatwick, Bristol, Glasgow, London Luton, Manchester, Birmingham , and Belfast airports between October 2024 and January 2025. The easyJet team encourages everyone who is afraid of flying to join the course to overcome this fear and be able to travel around the world.
