New Ancona-Madrid flight with Volotea

The second route to Spain will start from 19 December, for the Christmas period. The number of international connections from Ancona airport rises to 3: Barcelona, Madrid and Paris (Orly)

Volotea strengthens its bond with the Marche region by announcing an important novelty: starting from 19 December 2025 and for the duration of the Christmas holidays, the new direct flight between Ancona and Madrid will be operational.

The route, offered exclusively by the low-cost airline specializing in connections between small and medium-sized European cities, will be active twice a week (on Mondays and Fridays) with a total of 2,160 seats available.

For the 2025 season, Volotea confirms its operations in Ancona with six direct connections: three domestic to Catania, Olbia and Palermo, and three international, including the two routes already active to Paris (Orly) and Barcelona, and the new route to Madrid, ready to take off from Ancona International Airport.
