SkyAlps

Founded in 2020 by South Tyrolean entrepreneur Josef Gostner, SkyAlps is a regional airline based in Bolzano. It was founded with the main aim of restoring scheduled flights from the local airport and promoting tourism to and from South Tyrol.

In 2021 it inaugurated the first flights to Olbia and Ibiza. Subsequently, new connections with Germany were introduced. 

During 2024, the company focused on expanding its fleet to eight operational aircraft and expanding its network to eight countries and more than 20 European cities.

In January 2023, SkyAlps obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), gaining full independence to operate flights with its own aircraft and thus expanding the route network.

SkyAlps fleet

SkyAlps' fleet consists of modern DASH DHC-8-Q400 regional aircraft, turboprop aircraft known for their efficiency, silence and low environmental impact. Designed to cover short distances, these aircraft guarantee lower emissions and reduced noise pollution during take-off and landing. Each aircraft can accommodate up to 76 passengers.
