Athens Internazionale Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos“ is a modern airport located about 33 kilometers east of the capital Athens, in the municipality of Spata-Artemida. Enhanced during the 2004 Olympics, replacing the old airport Ellinikon since 2001 and its structure is entitled to Eleuterio Venizelos, a politician of modern Greece.
The airport currently has two terminals: the Main Terminal, and the Satellite Terminal accessible by a foot-tunnel from the Main Terminal.

Athens International Airport is connected via the Suburban Rail with: Athens Central Railway Station (Larissis Station), Port of Pireaus and Kiato.
Four bus routes connect directly Athens and Piraeus with the airport. All buses set down passengers at the Departures Level and depart from the Arrivals Level, between Exits 4 and 5.
