Riga

Riga International Airport is the largest international aviation company in the Baltic’s and the main air traffic centre in this region and link to 70 destinations national and international. Is located in the town of Mārupe at 10 km from the center of Riga. On the occasion of the 800 th anniversary of the founding of the city, happened at the end of 2001, the airport has performed numerous works of enlargement. The airport has one passenger terminal.

 

Bus No. 22, which leaves from Abrenes Street, has direct services between the airport and the city centre. Get out straight at the terminal on the 2nd level: the bus stop are located opposite the terminal behind the car park P1. Frequency 10-30 minutes, journey time to city centre about 30 minutes.
Is possible also travel from the airport to the city centre with “Airport Express” minibuses. The price for a ride is 3 LVL (5 EUR). No extra charge for luggage.

'Lux Express' and 'Simple Express' offer the most frequent international connections between Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Berlin, St.Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Minsk.
'Simple Express' is the low-cost brand of the airport, for every destination at the best price.
'Ollex - Klaipeda-Riga Express', offers daily connections between Riga (city and airport) and the Lithuanian cities of Mažeikiai, Plungė and Klaipėda, by minibus.

Riga city and other destinations from/to the airport can be reached using SIA "Baltic Taxi" and AS "Rīgas Taksometru Parks". Journey time to the centre of Riga city is approximately 15 minutes.

Riga international Airport is served by several car rental companies. Their offices are located in the Arrivals sector E and will be open on pick-up time of your rental.
