Rijeka airport, inaugurated in 1970, serves the city of Fiume (Rijeka in Croatian) in Croatia and is located near Castelmuschio, on the island of Krk, about 25 km from the Rijeka railway station.
Rijeka Airport is a 60-minute drive from Pula and Trieste, a 90-minute drive from Zagreb and Ljubljana, a 120-minute drive from Venice and Zadar, and a 180-minute drive from Graz and Split.
