Gimpo International Airport is located south of the Han River, in the western area of Seoul, about 15 kilometers from the city center.
Gimpo Airport was the main international airport for Seoul and South Korea, before being replaced by Incheon International Airport in 2001, where all international flights were transferred.

Gimpo Airport can be reached through the following lines:
- Line 5 (purple)
- Line 9 (brown).
At the airport, the Gimpo Airport Station to take Line 5, 9 and Airport Railroad Line is on the first floor of the National Flights.
Bus
Several public buses (Intercity Bus and Intra-city & Limousine Bus) connect Gimpo Airport to Seoul.
Taxi
Taxis are outside the Terminal at Arrivals (Gate 6 and 8).
Car Rental
At Gimpo Airport you can rent cars at the airport with Pacific Rent Car, AJ Rent Car and Lotte Rent Car.
