The Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion Airport is the largest and busiest civil airport in Israel. The airport is near the city of Lod, 15 km south-east of Tel Aviv. It is run by the Israel Airports Authority (Israel Airports Authority), which administers the public airports in Israel.
Ben Gurion Airport is home of the Israeli airlines El Al, Israir Airlines, Arkia Israel Airlines, Sun d'Or International Airlines. The airport has three runways and is used by commercial flights, private and military. Terminal 3 is devoted to international flights while Terminal 1 for flights Israelis.

Train
Israel Railways connects the airport to the city and vice versa. Information on the times and routes are available on the website www.rail.co.il
Passengers arriving at Terminal 3 but leaving from Terminal 1 can reach Terminal 1 with a free airport shuttle bus.
Shuttle bus
A free shuttle bus connects Terminals 1 and 3. The station of the shuttle bus operating from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 is located at Level G near the Long-Term Car Park shuttle station. The station of the shuttle bus operating from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 is situated in front of Terminal 1 and in front of Gate 4.
Bus
‘Egged Service Lines’ buses arrive and leave approximately 5 km from the airport. Information on the times and routes are available on the website www.egged.co.il
Scheduled service to ‘Be'er Sheva’. It connects the airport to ‘Be'er Sheva’ and departs from Terminal 3, Level 2. Information on the times and stops is available on the website www.metropoline.com
Taxi
The taxi service is under the supervision of the Israel Airport Authority, which issues the appropriate licence to companies operating a service to and from the airport (Hadar Lod Taxis). Arriving passengers can book taxis in Terminal 3, Level G, Gate 3. In Terminal 1 taxis can be booked at Gate 3.
