Wrocław Nicolaus Copernicus Airport is located in the south-west part of Wrocław, about 10 km from the city center, near Wrocław motorway bypass.
From 2003 the airport records the rapid growth of passenger traffic. Within 5 years the number of passengers increased five times. The airport serves the network carriers, which offer flights to the huge hubs in Europe, low cost carriers and also charter airlines. On 11 March 2012 a new passenger terminal was opened. The capacity is almost 4 mln passengers per year.

Bus No. 406 operates every 20 minutes everyday to/from the Central Railway/Coach Station. The entire journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
Night bus line 249, operates from the city center through the Airport to Jarnołtów district, twice during night.
The Airport is about 10 km from the city center, near Wrocław motorway bypass, which makes it easy to reach the airport for the passengers driving from Warsaw from S8 road, from Poznań along the national road no. 5, as well as for those driving to the airport from the south, along the national road no. 8 and also for the passengers driving along A4 motorway.
