Dassault Falcon 6X Debuts at Singapore Air Show
Dassault’s Falcon 6X long-range twinjet will be on display for the first time at the Singapore Air Show, opening February 20 at the Changi Exhibition Centre
The 6X features the largest cabin cross section of any purpose built business jet. It received FAA and EASA certification and entered service into service last year. Following the show, it will undertake an extensive demonstration tour through Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the Asia Pacific region, completing a worldwide tour that has already taken it across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.

The aircraft’s ultra-efficient Pratt & Whitney Canada PW812D engines can fly on Sustainable Aviation Fuel blends up to 50 percent. Dassault’s Falcon 6X long-range twinjet will be on display for the first time at the Singapore Air Show in Singapore, opening February 20 at the Changi Exhibition Centre. “Operators who have flown the 6X as it has made its way around the globe, praise the unparalleled quietness, comfort and spaciousness of the cabin,” said Dassault Aviation Chairman and CEO Eric Trappier. ”The 6X also retains the peerless handling, versatility and short-field capability typical of all our Falcons.”

This year’s air show will also be an opportunity to highlight the 4,000 nm (7,400 km) Falcon 2000LXS, the latest version of the popular 2000 series, which has sold near to 700 units worldwide. The 2000LXS can fly from Singapore nonstop to anywhere in Asia and Australia and out to Dubai and yet offer a short-field capability comparable to that of smaller midsize jets.

Jet support in Asia
Dassault Aviation continues to reinforce the range of maintenance, repair and overhaul services available to the 100-plus Falcons already operating in the Asia Pacific region. Its ExecuJet MRO affiliate will open late March a brand new 149,500 sq ft (13,900 sq m) service center in Kuala Lumpur. The Subang Airport facility will be capable of handling the largest Dassault aircraft, including the 6X and 10X, and will serve as a leading hub for business aviation support in the region.

ExecuJet MRO Services also runs full-service support facilities in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, Australia.
