Pilatus expands its presence in the United States
A new state-of-the-art facility to support the growing fleet of North and South America-based Pilatus aircraft operational by mid-2026 at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Florida
Pilatus, the Swiss manufacturer of the single-engine PC-12 turboprop aircraft and the PC-24 Super Versatile jet , has signed an agreement to develop a company-owned sales, design and service center in Bradenton, Florida. At Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (KSRQ), Pilatus and the Airport Authority have signed an agreement to develop 17 acres in the northern part of the airport, where Pilatus will build a new state-of-the-art sales and service facility. The new Customer Center will initially employ more than 50 people to manage sales, service, design and delivery of Pilatus aircraft in the southeastern United States.

The initial project includes the construction of 54,000 square feet for maintenance, parts distribution and delivery of new aircraft, as well as an additional 17,000 square feet for workshops, offices and administrative spaces. The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2026. Future growth plans for Pilatus' Bradenton site include final assembly of aircraft for North and South America, and could employ up to 300 people.

Florida and the East Coast of the United States represent the highest concentration of Pilatus aircraft operations, sales and service worldwide. In 2022 alone, more than 6,200 Pilatus flight operations were carried out in Florida. The construction of the new facility in Bradenton is part of a broader business strategy to support the growing fleet of more than 2,250 Pilatus aircraft already based in North and South America.
