Dolce&Gabbana's Haute Couture on display in Rome
After the success in Milan and Paris, the exhibition "From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana", scheduled from May 14 to August 13, 2025, arrives in Rome, in the prestigious setting of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
A return to Italy that takes on a new dimension: not a simple rearrangement, but a transformed narrative, designed to dialogue with the neoclassical context of the building designed by Pio Piacentini and inaugurated in 1883, a symbolic place of contemporary visual culture and shared heritage, the largest exhibition and cultural space in the center of the capital.
Curated by Florence Müller and with sets design by Agence Galuchat, the exhibition - promoted by Roma Capitale and organized by Azienda Speciale Palaexpo with IMG - displays over 200 unique creations, symbols of Dolce&Gabbana's Italian Haute Couture style, witnesses of the brand's extraordinary craftsmanship and its inexhaustible inspiration from Italian culture.
The exhibition covers an area of about 1,500 square meters, in a succession of immersive rooms where you can explore the uniqueness of the brand's creative and unconventional thinking in the world of luxury: elegant, sensual and, at times, even ironic, subversive and irreverent. An emotional and sensory journey, where fashion, art, memory and material intertwine in a story that goes far beyond the dress. It is the journey of the creative process that takes shape from the heart - origin of inspiration - to the hands, which transform the idea into tangible reality.
The themed rooms explore the influences that animate the Dolce&Gabbana universe: art, architecture, music, Opera, ballet, theatre, crafts, folklore and cinema are just some of the worlds evoked in a visual exploration of the concept of Italianness and the suggestions of the "dolce vita".
Enriched by the contribution of visual artists in dialogue with the creations on display, the exhibition is presented as a true declaration of love to Italian culture, the long-time muse of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. An event that celebrates not only fashion, but the very essence of Italian know-how and feeling.
