The superyacht YN 20457 Santosha by Heesen Yachts

Heesen Yachts has announced the delivery of YN 20457, Santosha, a highly customized superyacht, crafted to suit the unique tastes and preferences of the new owners. The Heesen and owner teams worked together to bring Santosha to life. The result is a yacht that has exceeded their expectations in every aspect, offering unparalleled comfort and style for those who love to sail.

 

 

Santosha is a testament to versatility, designed to deliver blazing speed, exceptional performance, and stability. During sea trials in the North Sea, it demonstrated exceptional capabilities, operating quietly and with extraordinary performance in different sea conditions. Powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines that comply with IMO Tier III standards and an efficient hull design, Santosha achieves an impressive top speed of 22 knots, A remarkable achievement for a superyacht with a displacement of around 510 tons at mid-load.

 

 

The collaboration with the renowned owner representative, Peter Wilson of MCM, was instrumental in the success of the project for this magnificent , fast, all-aluminum motor yacht. It combines exceptional speed and performance with hydrodynamic efficiency. At low speeds, it offers extraordinary autonomy and its shallow draft makes it incredibly versatile, allowing it to excel in different conditions, making it a multifunctional vessel.

 

 

Santosha also represents an important milestone in Heesen's yacht design and engineering. As the first of a new class of 57-meter all-aluminum yachts, she boasts an interior volume of approximately 780 GT and a lightweight, ultra-efficient structure with a Fast Displacement Hull Form. The accuracy of the weight calculations was critical to achieving the Bahamian draft.

 

 

With the ability to accommodate twelve guests in six luxurious cabins, Santosha includes a 63 square meter apartment for the owner located on the main deck. The imposing exterior design, including a unique hollowed-out stern, adds charm to its presence on the water. Generous outdoor spaces further enhance the onboard experience, allowing guests to fully enjoy life at sea. Santosha will make its official debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in March 2025.
