Iberia increases flights between Madrid and Santo Domingo

For the winter season, the Spanish airline introduces more frequencies and the Airbus A330-300, improving the passenger experience with the Turista Premium cabin
Iberia has announced a significant increase in capacity on flights between Madrid and Santo Domingo for the upcoming winter season, which extends from the end of October 2024 to March 2025. The airline plans to progressively increase weekly frequencies, going to eight weekly flights in November, ten in December and reaching eleven weekly flights in January. In February and March, the service will be operated with ten weekly flights.

This increase in flights represents a 20% growth compared to the capacity offered last year and even 50% compared to the pre-pandemic period of 2019. During the entire winter season, Iberia will make almost 125,000 places available to connect Europe with the Dominican Republic.

One of the main novelties for the winter season is the introduction of the Airbus A330-300 on this route. This aircraft, compared to the previous A330-200, offers a 15% reduction in fuel consumption and a greater number of seats. It also includes the new Turista Premium cabin, which offers Dominican and international passengers an enhanced travel experience, with wider seats, larger screens and more legroom. The Premium Tourist class is a valid option for those looking for more comfort at a competitive price, including a tailor-made catering service and other exclusive benefits.

Iberia operates direct flights from the main Italian airports. Its connections facilitate travel, not only between Italy and Spain but also between several international destinations, with convenient connections from the Madrid hub allowing Italian passengers to reach numerous destinations around the world
