Lufthansa Allegris on flights from Munich
New First Class Premium Experience on Long-Haul Flights to Bengaluru, Charlotte, Chicago, New York, San Diego, San Francisco and Shanghai
Lufthansa is introducing a new standard of luxury in long-haul flights with the arrival of First Class Allegris, which can already be booked for flights from 30 March on routes from Munich to San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai and Bengaluru. In addition to the cabin refurbishment, the airline has also invested in the ground experience, with new dedicated check-in areas and a completely renovated lounge in Munich.
The innovations affect all classes of travel: the new cabin will also be available on flights to New York-Newark (from mid-April) and, from the beginning of August, also to Charlotte.

A new era for Lufthansa First Class
Currently, Lufthansa already operates nine Airbus A350-900s with the new interior, eight of which are equipped with Allegris First Class. Almost half a million passengers have already experienced the comfort of the new cabins. During the year, the renewal program will also affect the rest of the fleet, starting with the Boeing 747-8.
Luxury suites for unparalleled comfort
The new Allegris First Class introduces three exclusive suites, designed to offer maximum privacy and personalization:
- Individual Suites: two independent cabins with ceiling-high walls and lockable door. Passengers can adjust the temperature of their one-meter-wide seat, enjoy a large table, a 43-inch monitor and high-quality wireless headphones. Space is optimized thanks to a private cloakroom inside the suite.
- Suite Plus: a double cabin with two armchairs that can be converted into a comfortable double bed, designed for couples or single passengers looking for maximum comfort. This unique configuration represents a true "private jet" in flight.
The First Class update is part of a wider premium offering, which also includes the renovation of the lounges in Munich and Frankfurt.

Improvements for all Lufthansa passengers
Lufthansa has not only reserved the news for First Class: all travellers will benefit from innovative services, including:
- New check-in and baggage claim service in Frankfurt.
- Baggage tracking via Apple AirTag, integrated with Lufthansa digital channels.
- Free unlimited chat on all intercontinental flights, so you can send messages and photos while travelling.
- Revolution of the on-board service with new culinary proposals, renewed table sets, cushions, blankets and improved courtesy kits. This project, called "Future Onboard Experience", will be implemented in all classes from 2025, on the occasion of Lufthansa's centenary.

In addition, Lufthansa Business Class is the protagonist of further innovations:
- New catering on short and medium-haul flights, with an expanded selection of hot and cold dishes.
- Complete redesign of the lounges at Newark and London Heathrow, with the refurbishment of a further 30 lounges during the year.
