ITA Airways

ITA Airways is an Italian airline. The company Italia Trasporti Aereo wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance active since November 2020. ITA's goal is to create an innovative air carrier to guarantee connectivity to Italy of quality with international destinations and in Italy, also taking advantage of integrated mobility. Sustainability and digitalization are two fundamental elements of ITA's industrial strategy.
 
ITA focuses its business on the Rome Fiumicino hub and Milan Linate airport, as the reference airline for business and leisure traffic. At the start of operations, the airline serves 44 destinations with 59 routes that will rise to 74 destinations and 89 routes in 2025.

ITA Airways fleet
ITA's fleet is made up of 52 Airbus A220, A320neos, A330neos aircraft, of which 7 are wide body and 45 narrow body. In 2022 the fleet will grow to 78 aircraft (+26 on 2021) of which 13 are wide body (+6 on 2021) and 65 narrow body (+20 on 2021). At the end of 2025 the fleet will grow to 105 aircraft (23 wide body and 82 narrow body) with 70% of new generation aircraft.
