‘Iarnrod Eireann’ or Irish Rail is Ireland's national train company and operates trains to and from Cork's Kent Railway Station located on the Lower Glanmire Road, less than 10 minutes walk from the city Bus Station at Parnell Place. ‘Bus Eireann’ provides a connecting Air Coach bus service from Cork Airport to the Parnell Place Bus Station. Distance to and from Cork Airport is just 8 kilometres.

Cork Airport is accessible by Buses and Coaches daily.  From Cork City Centre, Parnell Place Bus Station and Kent Railway Station by travelling on Bus Éireann’s direct Air Coach service (route 226A) you can reach the Cork Airport.  Bus and Coach connections are available at Parnell Place Bus Station to various towns and cities all across Ireland.

Cork Airport is conveniently located just 8 kilometres from Cork City Centre on the south end of the N27 when coming from the North, West, or East of Cork and off the R600 when coming from Kinsale.

 

The cost from the City Centre (and the central Bus and Railway stations) to Cork Airport  is between € 10.00 and € 15.00 approximately. Taxis are available from the forecourt directly outside the Arrivals concourse in front of the Terminal.
