The business aviation at Linate and Malpensa Prime for Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza
Positive results: 750 aircraft and helicopters movements managed for Formula 1 Grand Prix event in Monza
During the 2023 edition of the Italian Grand Prix Milano Prime has recorded very positive results. Between 1-4 September the company has managed a total of about 750 business aviation movements at Milano Prime Linate and Milano Prime Malpensa, with a peak of 300 movements on Sunday 3rd.
These results reflect the positive trend recorded by one of the most followed sporting events in Italy, which has attracted more than 330,000 spectators from all over the world to Monza.
During the GP weekend, SEA Prime operations, with the support of the Italian air traffic control (ENAV) and civil aviation authority (ENAC) has managed the helicopter shuttle (operated by Elilombarda) with a special procedure to enable spectators to easily reach the racing circuit directly from the apron, with a total of 134 helicopters’ rotations. The aircraft of the Presidency of the Republic of Italy and the iconic “Frecce Tricolori” - for the traditional display before the start of the Grand Prix - also took off from Milano Prime Linate airport.
The important results achieved also during this year's edition of the Italian Grand Prix confirm the fundamental role of Milano Prime as an efficient and exclusive gateway to the most important events involving the Milanese territory.
