New Bentley Batur Convertible debuts in Dubai

Only 16 numbered collector's items for the latest W12-powered convertible: craftsmanship, bespoke luxury and exceptional performance by Mulliner

The new Bentley Batur Convertible was presented in world premiere during an exclusive event in Bab Al Shams, Dubai, confirming itself as the third coachbuilt model of the modern era made by Mulliner, the bespoke division of the British manufacturer.

Produced in only 16 numbered units, this convertible is a true collector's item: it is one of the last Bentleys to be equipped with the legendary 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine and 750 hp, the most powerful version ever made before production is stopped in summer 2025.

Destined to go down in the brand's history, the Bentley Batur Convertible is more than a car: it is a sculpture on wheels, a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation and individuality.

Limitless design and customization

The model presented in Dubai sports a "Midnight Emerald" body with glossy carbon fiber details and front grille with a gradient effect from Gloss Mandarin to Gloss Beluga, creating a dynamic color transition. The distinctive feature is the Batur Racing Stripe, a central stripe in Gloss Porpoise flanked by Gloss Mandarin bands, perfectly coordinated with the leather of the interior.

The cabin, refined and contemporary, combines Cumbrian Green and Porpoise leather with Mandarin stitching and piping. Machined titanium elements and Bullseye vents add a technical touch, while the dashboard features the stunning 'guitar fade' finish: a gradient that transitions from polished Beluga to polished carbon fibre and returns, complemented by the W12 engine's laser-engraved audio signature.

Tailor-made open-air Gran Turismo

Heir to the Bacalar barchetta and the Batur coupe, the Batur Convertible combines the spirit of Bentley's open-air grand tourers with a design that recalls the enveloping aesthetics of the Bacalar. The cabin is designed as a two-seater cockpit, with an exclusive and enveloping driving experience.

Each car will be made in close collaboration between the customer and the Mulliner Bespoke Studio, through an "out of print" customization process that allows you to choose colors, materials and finishes without limits, even with hand-painted elements or made of 3D printed rose gold. The latter is applied to key elements such as the driving mode selector, the Organ Stop vents and the steering wheel, in collaboration with master goldsmiths from Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter.

Iconic power

Each example will be hand-built, in a process that lasts several months, in the zero-emission plant in Crewe. At the heart of the Batur Convertible is the glorious twin-turbo W12, updated with new turbochargers, intercooler, revised intake and a bespoke calibration. The result is a thrust of 750 hp and 1,000 Nm, with a powerful but elegant progression, in line with the character of the luxury grand tourer par excellence.

This final version celebrates 20 years of success of the W12 engine, improved over time with almost 40% more power and a 25% reduction in fuel consumption.
