Brioni and Lalique celebrate the art of perfume
Two Maisons linked by a common vision of excellence and artistic savoir-faire - Brioni and Lalique - meet again to give life to a timeless masterpiece: Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume. Much more than a perfume, it is an ode to creativity, precision craftsmanship and beauty that comes from contrast. Created after four years of collaboration between Nobert Stumpfl, Brioni's Design Director, and Marc Larminaux, Lalique's Artistic and Creative Director, this extraordinary bottle embodies the theme of duality: where opposites meet in perfect balance, creating a powerful and harmonious aesthetic.
Forged in fire and sculpted like an octagonal prism, the crystal bottle pays homage to Brioni's eighty-year heritage, combining classic lines with a contemporary sensibility. Inside, a surprising crystalline landscape takes shape: fragments of glass "frozen in time" that refract the light with hypnotic reflections, accentuated by a silver essence that envelops them in an ethereal aura. This level of detail is only possible thanks to the cire-perdue, an ancient lost-wax technique dating back to 1893, rediscovered and perfected by the master glassmakers of Lalique in the historic workshop of Wingen-sur-Moder, in Alsace. To complete the work, the bottle is kept in a casket of pure alabaster, a noble and translucent material, whose natural veins evoke a sculptural column. A frame that elevates perfume to a work of art, merging sculpture and design into a single sensory experience.
At the heart of this creation is an exceptional fragrance, developed by Master Perfumer Michel Almairac. The olfactory pyramid opens with a pure ozonic accord, imbued with the fruity energy of the green apple. In the heart, the powdery delicacy of violet blends with the modern intensity of Ambroxan, while the velvety richness of fine iris butter gives depth and refinement. The base closes on an enveloping and sophisticated trail, made of cedar wood, green musk and the warm, persistent brightness of dry amber. Each bottle contains 340 ml of this exclusive composition, designed for an intense, sensual and long-lasting olfactory journey.
Dualité, Crystal Edition Perfume, created by Brioni and Lalique, is available in a limited series of 18 numbered and hand-signed pieces worldwide and was presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan to celebrate Brioni's 80th anniversary.
