Hemingway: The Adventurer

In a time where people are increasingly measured by 'influence', the enormity of Ernest Hemingway's legacy becomes hard to overstate. Indeed, Hemingway seemed to lead several lives, crafting an image as a master outdoorsman while creating many of the 20th century's most celebrated and enduring works.

Ernest Hemingway was one of the most innovative and influential writers, reporters and novelists of the 20th century, one who wrote, coincidentally, with Montegrappa pens.

The Montegrappa Hemingway collection pays tribute to his life's many layers. Hemingway: The Adventurer is its newest chapter: a tribute to the sights and sounds of Africa made in the same factory that supplied Hemingway himself in 1918. The Hemingway Collection is divided into four chapter editions: "The Soldier", "The Writer", "The Fisherman" and "The Traveller". Each of these are embodied into a special pen, offered in the three models of fountain, rollerball and ballpoint pens. Each model in the four topics is a limited edition of 100 examples per mode. All pens in the series are produced in celluloid with Sterling Silver trim. In addition to the silver editions, 10 examples of each of the three pen types, in each of the four chapters, are trimmed with 18k Gold.
