Baglietto signs it’s fourth launch: it is “Panam”, a 40 m fast jewel

Designed by Francesco Paszkowski design intended for a european owner
Italian boatbuilder Baglietto Spa, based in La Spezia, specializes in the construction of new aluminum light alloy yachts ranging between 35 and 50 meters in length and steel and light aluminum alloy displacement mega-yachts above 40 meters.

MY Panam is the last in chronological order of the premiere series to hit the water since the end of June in the Baglietto family; the first one was the hull #10232 followed by hulls #10231 and DOM123 launched last week.

The 40m M/Y Panam with aluminum hull bears the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design both for the exterior and the interior, the latter in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. Sleek and aggressive, this 40 meters vessel stands out for her impressive performances, ensured by the aluminum alloy hull and three MTU engines 16V2000 M96L and three KaMeWa water-jet engines (n. 2 x S71-4 on the sides and one central booster S63B-4), which push her up to a maximum speed of 31 knots and a pleasant cruising speed of 25 knots. As the four hull doors on the stern, most of the technical components are in carbon fiber to reduce overall weight.

The straight bow endows this yacht with a modern, dynamic and powerful look, further enhanced by the large irregular-shape windows that let plenty of natural light into the interior saloon.

The interior is in a contemporary style with warm woods, light shades of gray and taupe embellished with onyx and marbles chosen by the Owner. The layout features a large salon on the main deck, separate from the dining area thanks to a “green” wall. Forward, the full-beam master suite is fitted with a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom with hammam. Two folding electrical windows open on the sides to allow panoramic views.

Four guest cabins are located on the lower bridge, for a total of 8+1 guests. On this same deck we find the crew area, that can accommodate up to 5 crew members (7 in charter mode). Behind the engine room is the semi-float-in garage storing a 17’ tender, while a pleasant beach area can be enjoyed aft, open on three sides and fitted with a big swimming ladder granting very easy access to the sea.
