Sanlorenzo at the Cannes Yachting Festival

Sanlorenzo is once again participating in the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, which takes place from 10 to 15 September in the splendid setting of the French Riviera. To inaugurate the nautical season, the shipyard has chosen to present two new models of its yacht Business Unit, marking an important evolution in their respective lines: the SL86A for the Asymmetrical line and the SP92 for the Smart Performance line. In addition to these novelties, Sanlorenzo brings to Cannes a selection of iconic models that have helped define the history of the brand.

 

 

The result of the collaboration with Studio Zuccon, the SL86A represents an innovative evolution of the application of the concept of asymmetry, pushing the potential of this solution to the maximum to create new and optimized living spaces, always in line with the elegance and distinctive style of Sanlorenzo. Applying the principles of asymmetry on a smaller boat than previous models represented a complex challenge, but it led to a unique result, further enhancing the interior and exterior spaces.

Inside, the innovative solution adopted, which minimizes the size of the vertical connections, allows the entire Main Deck to be dedicated to the conviviality of guests. The result is a large living space conceived as an open space, with a large aft saloon and a customizable dining area in the bow. The reduction of visual barriers highlights the large asymmetrical window which, extending from stern to bow, creates a continuous connection with the sea. This connection is also enhanced in the aft area, where a minimalist but innovative design allows you to sail without visible stairs, with the introduction of transparent elements that reinforce the visual link with the surrounding seascape. Overall, the SL86A offers expanded and more usable outdoor spaces, thanks also to two large sunbathing areas, one in the bow and one integrated into the deckhouse.

 

 

With the SP92, Sanlorenzo continues its exploration into the sporty and performance boat segment, which began with the SP110. Created in collaboration with Studio Zuccon for the exterior design and with the architect Piero Lissoni for the interiors, the SP92 integrates the best technologies already present in the SP110, winning the challenge of applying the typical design of the range to a new entry level. This model further enhances the sportiness and balance of the boat, while keeping Sanlorenzo's unmistakable style, elegance and performance intact.

The interiors are developed on four levels, an innovation for a boat of this kind, and are characterized by solutions that enhance the spaciousness and livability of the spaces, strengthening the connection with the surrounding sea. A significant example is represented by the large windows that connect the interior to the large aft area, where there is a customizable beach area of about 45 square meters.

In line with the concept of Smart Performance, the SP92 combines the characteristics of a high-performance yacht with Sanlorenzo's commitment to sustainability. From the design of the hull, which optimizes the coefficient of resistance at the most used speeds, to the choice of structural materials, up to the photovoltaic system with very high efficiency monocrystalline cells and the furnishings made with composite materials and aeronautical technologies, everything has been designed to minimize consumption and reduce environmental impact.
