OMI: the heart of the method
At the heart of the book is the concept of OMI, an acronym for One Minute Immersion, a methodology developed by the author for a deep, yet concise, mindful immersion experience. Each day you can choose from 21 meditation themes, each linked to one of the four natural elements: earth, water, fire and air. These themes are intertwined with ancient spiritual traditions, offering a path that reconnects with the primordial forces of nature and one's own soul. The peculiarity of OMI is their simplicity and immediacy: at any time of the day, just take a minute to recite a psychic formula or mantras inspired by millennial yoga traditions, including Hindu yoga, Himalayan yoga, tantric yoga, shamanic yoga, Buddhist yoga, Japanese yoga, Greco-Egyptian alchemy and ancient Greece. Through this daily practice, not only does greater awareness develop, but we rediscover the beauty of the present moment, the "here and now", the only moment in which life really happens.

A journey to mindfulness
The book is an immersive journey into short but continuous meditation. Each exercise, enriched with clear and simple instructions, guides you into an experience that involves not only the mind, but also the body and spirit. Selene Calloni Williams' approach is inspired by a deep knowledge of the imaginal (in 2003 she founded the Society of Nontherapy and the Imaginal Academy in Switzerland with the support of the psychoanalyst James Hillman) and ancient spiritual traditions, combined with a contemporary vision of meditative practice.
