"All aboard!", Volotea's educational project

The airline is committed to the local level, involving the young travellers of today and tomorrow, with a playful approach to geography, Italian beauty, the plane and the airport
The airline Volotea, one of the fastest growing independent European companies in the last ten years, has launched the educational campaign "All on board!", designed to involve 1,000 primary school classes in different Italian regions including Veneto, Tuscany, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia in the 2024-2025 school year. This project, developed in collaboration with Neways, an expert in educational communication, aims to offer support to teachers and children between 6 and 11 years old, integrating geography and civic education lessons.

The educational program is completely free and the classes that join will receive a kit with both paper and digital teaching materials, including playsheets, games and educational booklets. Among the novelties, there will also be CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) activities, which will allow children to learn not only school content, but also language skills in a foreign language. The teaching materials revolve around five main themes: travel as a source of growth and adventure, the etiquette of the young traveler, the world of the plane and the airport, and the discovery of Italy and its curiosities. At the end of the school year, the participating classes will have the opportunity to take part in an art competition: the winning class will receive Volotea vouchers for each student and the teacher, as well as a set of stationery for the entire class, thus celebrating the educational path carried out during the year.
