ADR hosts SESAR Innovation Days 2024
Innovation and the future for European aviation. Focus on artificial intelligence and advanced technologies for the Digital European Sky
From 12 to 15 November 2024, Rome will be the center of aeronautical innovation with the SESAR Innovation Days (SID), a leading European event for research in the field of air traffic management (ATM).
Hosted by Aeroporti di Roma, ENAV and Leonardo, the event promotes the adoption of technological solutions for a digital European sky, addressing topics such as drones, suborbital flights and remote control towers. Important partners such as Deep Blue will present innovative tools, based on artificial intelligence, to optimize air traffic safety and efficiency.
The initiative is part of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, a public-private partnership aimed at transforming European air transport by improving sustainability and efficiency. The main contributions of Deep Blue, a leading Italian SME in aeronautical research projects, include AI Assurance systems to ensure maximum safety and Human-AI Teaming applications to improve human-machine interaction.
