Fiumicino among the best airports in the world

The Roman hub rises to eighth place in the 2025 global ranking and confirms itself as Italian excellence in terms of quality, innovation and passenger services

Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Fiumicino once again obtains the highest recognition in the airport sector: the prestigious 5-star Skytrax, awarded after a rigorous international evaluation. A very important result that is accompanied by a historic milestone: the airport's entry into the World Top 10, in eighth position in the World's Top 10 Airports of 2025 ranking.

 

Managed by Aeroporti di Roma, a Mundys Group company, the Roman airport is increasingly standing out as a reference point in the Mediterranean area, thanks to high standards in terms of hospitality, operational efficiency, digitalisation and sustainability.

 

The announcement was made in Madrid, during the prestigious international event Passenger Terminal Expo 2025, in the presence of numerous representatives of Aeroporti di Roma, including Ivan Bassato (Chief Aviation Officer), Marilena Blasi (Chief Commercial Officer) and Emanuele Calà (Senior VP Transformation & Technology).
