London Gatwick's new Detailed Access Guides

To help passengers in need of assistance find their way around the airport, guides cover 30 different areas, from parking lots, security checkpoints and boarding gates
London Gatwick has partnered with AccessAble to launch a series of personalised Detailed Access Guides , helping passengers move around the airport more easily, safely and confidently.

The free guides cover 30 different areas of London Gatwick, including departures and arrivals, car parks and the train station, and provide passengers with information on various aspects such as types of pavement, signage, light and noise levels, barrier-free access, walking distances, accessible seating and toilets, as well as many other details.

Anna-Ruth Cockerham, Head of Accessibility at London Gatwick, said: "September and October are typically our busiest months for welcoming passengers who require extra assistance, so we are delighted to launch our new Detailed Access Guides to facilitate these journeys through the airport. We know that everyone's accessibility needs are different, which is why having detailed and accurate information is so important. These guides will help London Gatwick realise its vision of being the airport for all."
