10 exciting experiences to keep travelers entertained at the airport this summer
From pre-flight performances to luxury dining, Heathrow presents exciting experiences to get travelers into the summer spirit. More passengers than ever are passing through Heathrow, with 30 million people expected this summer. To entertain passengers of all ages before boarding, the airport has unveiled new seasonal activities in the various terminals, including table tennis, table football and creative activities for children. To prepare for the summer peak, Heathrow has also welcomed new retailers to its departure lounges, including the UK's first Jones The Grocer and the luxurious English wine bar, The Vinery.

1. ► Play table tennis and table football at the airport before your flight
Passengers waiting to depart can start the summer fun with friendly competition at classic board games. Heathrow has installed a table football table and a digital table tennis table in each of its starting lounges, in celebration of this year's British sports summer. The new games, free of charge, will be available until August 12.
2. ► Creative activities with children at the airport
Heathrow Arts & Crafts Carts are back by popular demand! Entertain kids with a range of fun and clean activities, including coloring, origami, magic painting, card-making, sheet art, and scratch art before boarding.

3. ► On holiday with Fast Track
Go through security with the Fast Track service , which can be booked for just £12.50 per person. Reserve your seat until noon the day before your trip.
4. ► Free meals for children at the airport
Make the most of Heathrow's Kids Eat Free offer in all terminals this summer. Until September 1, adults who order a main course from participating restaurants can choose one free meal per child. With great restaurants to choose from and a wide range of dishes, the whole family will be delighted!
5. ► Pre-flight flight to The Vinery
The new wine bar The Vinery in Terminal 2 is the perfect place for a break with a glass of wine and a snack. Celebrating English wines, The Vinery offers a selection of drinks, a menu of seasonal foods, and themed tasting flights for those who want to savor a range of flavors selected by the sommelier.

6. ► Olympics and living statues
Street performance and sporting prowess will come together with living Olympic-inspired statues in the terminals from July 26-31. The statues will hold incredible poses, so convincing that they will leave everyone speechless when they finally come to life.

Heathrow's bookable Personal Shopper service is perfect for those looking for a luxurious experience. In the exclusive Personal Shopper lounges in Terminals 2, 3 and 5, a team of trained stylists are on hand to provide expert fashion advice and gifts, making the pre-flight shopping experience effortless and enjoyable. Subject to availability, passengers can book this free service via the Heathrow website.

8. ► Cappuccino to take away at the airport
The new Starbucks at Heathrow has everything you need to refuel before a flight, offering relaxing seating areas and a grab-and-go counter. With interiors inspired by the natural landscapes of coffee-growing regions, the new store in Terminal 5 has been designed with every journey in mind.
9. ► Andartisanal culinary experience at Jones The Grocer
This summer, Terminal 2 became the home of the first Jones The Grocer in the UK. The casual restaurant and deli offer a tranquil setting to enjoy modern artisanal meals when you have time on your hands, and an Express counter for passengers in a hurry.
