Who is Sadhguru?
Yogi, mystic, and visionary, Sadhguru is one of the most influential individuals of our time, engaged in colossal challenges such as the global Conscious Planet Save Soil movement, with the grand goal of elevating human consciousness
The guru
Jaggi Vasudev, known as Sadhguru, was born on September 3, 1957, in Mysore, India, and experienced spontaneous enlightenment at the age of 25. Since then, he has devoted his life to teaching spiritual practices for physical and mental well-being. Sadhguru has touched millions of people worldwide through his spiritual work. The Isha Foundation, founded by him, is a non-profit, non-religious organization run by volunteers, with over 300 centers and more than 11 million volunteers worldwide. Established in 1992, its vision is to offer spiritual programs to elevate human consciousness and promote global harmony through individual transformation.
Sadhguru is not aligned with any teachings, philosophies, religions, or belief systems. He offers humanity an experiential understanding of life.
He asserts:
"The word 'Sadhguru' is not a title. It is a description. Sadhguru means 'uneducated guru.'
I am almost one hundred percent spiritually uneducated.
I know no scripture.
I only come from my inner experience,
and the only thing I know for sure
is this piece of life,
from its origin to its conclusion".Sadhguru has often stated that
“Society is ripe for a spiritual process”.
His fundamental vision is to offer the science of inner well-being to every human being - a science that helps a person realize their maximum inner potential. From this vision stem numerous projects, programs, and methods, all aimed at the same goal: elevating every human being to the peak of their potential, so they are exuberant, inclusive, and in harmony with themselves and the world.
As a Spiritual Master, Sadhguru offers a series of powerful yoga programs, including the flagship programs Inner Engineering and Inner Engineering Online, which are extraordinary tools to help individuals achieve greater balance and remarkable clarity in their perception of life.
The Yogi
On June 23, 1999, Sadhguru completed the consecration of the Dhyanalinga, a potent form of energy that has been the dream of enlightened yogis for generations. Consecrated through an intense process called prana pratishtha, the Dhyanalinga is a profound meditative space and a gateway to enlightenment and spiritual liberation. The uniqueness of the Linga is that it has the energies of all seven chakras brought to their maximum and sealed to prevent dissolution over time.

On the yogic science of consecration, Sadhguru states:
"Consecration is a live process. If you turn mud into food, we call this agriculture.
If you turn food into flesh and bone, we call this digestion. If you turn flesh into mud, we call this cremation.
If you can turn this flesh or even a stone or an empty space into a divine possibility, that is called consecration".
Sadhguru has also consecrated other powerful forms and spaces, including the fierce feminine form Linga Bhairavi and the Yogeshwar Linga designed to bring intensity and inclusivity.
The visionary
Explorative and passionate, perceptive, logical, and always witty - Sadhguru's speeches have made him a renowned speaker and commentator. Considered one of the 50 most influential personalities in India, his acute and incisive understanding of current issues and global affairs, coupled with his intelligent and holistic approach to human well-being, has made him highly sought after in international forums.

Highly revered as a visionary and guide, Sadhguru has received countless recognitions and awards from around the world, including three presidential awards from the Government of India.
Among his numerous books, "Inner Engineering: A Yogi's Guide to Joy" and "Karma: A Yogi's Guide to Crafting Your Destiny" have been translated into Italian and serve as a source of inspiration for millions worldwide.
