#SalvALI: Flying Angels' life-saving flights
Donations and initiatives to provide life-saving care for seriously ill children around the world
Until 17 November 2024, the Flying Angels Foundation is renewing its #SalvALI campaign to fund life-saving flights for children in need of urgent cardiac surgery. The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ENAC and supported by 27 Italian airports, aims to support the "Save them with your heart" project. The foundation, active since 2012, has already helped over 3,000 children in 90 countries, offering airline tickets and medical missions to ensure health treatments that are inaccessible in their countries of origin.
The campaign focuses on the case of Ibush, a Kosovar child who, thanks to a flight funded by Flying Angels, received a life-saving operation at the Giannina Gaslini Hospital in Genoa. To contribute, you can make donations on the salvali.org website.
Flying Angels also operates as the leader of the Child Care Italian Network, a solidarity network that unites six organizations to provide medical care and support to sick children. Flying Angels continues to collaborate with non-profits and hospitals around the world, organizing emergency flights and medical missions to respond to the most critical health situations. The goal remains to guarantee the right to health for all children, overcoming geographical barriers and logistical difficulties.
