Oslo Airport renews its gastronomic offer
New dining concepts to enhance the traveller experience with a greater selection of Norwegian and international dishes
Oslo Airport is transforming its food and beverage offerings to enhance the passenger experience. This transformation represents the most significant change in the airport's culinary concept since the 2017 expansion.
While many of the options already known will remain or expand, a significant portion of the current offering will be replaced by new concepts that are better suited to passenger tastes. Travelers will soon be able to enjoy an even wider selection of Norwegian specialties at the capital's main airport.
Among the novelties, O'learys sports and gastrobar, previously available only at the international terminal, will also expand to the domestic side. This venue will be located on the second floor, overlooking the main terminal, in the space previously occupied by T.G.I. Fridays. O'learys will offer sports broadcasts during all opening hours and a varied menu, adapted to Norwegian tastes.
Demand for healthy and affordable food is high, with Bit Union and Lett expanding to open new locations in the domestic area, alongside their existing locations on the international side. These restaurants, originally from Oslo, address the need for nutritious and affordable meals.
In addition, a large Wine Bar called "Tigerstaden" will open in the international area, which will offer a relaxation option for passengers on vacation. With subtle references to the Norwegian capital, the wine bar promises to be one of the most anticipated novelties. Italian cuisine will play a central role, with two new Italian restaurants opening in the domestic and international areas, to offer dishes loved by all passengers.
The airport will also strengthen "Grab & Go" options, a convenient and popular format for those who want a quick meal before leaving. Several catering establishments will offer quick fixes to further enhance the traveler experience.
The new dining concepts will be introduced in both domestic and international areas of the terminal, including well-known names such as O'learys, Trattoria Tavolare, Bit Union, Lett and many more. Some of the most well-known brands, such as Burger King, Peppes Pizza, Joe and the Juice, Northland, Ritazza, Two Tigers and Starbucks, will continue to serve passengers at Oslo Airport.
