Avolta, a global player in the travel experience sector and of which Autogrill is a part, has officially inaugurated a new Food Court at Terminal 1 of Rome Fiumicino Airport. The initiative brings three gastronomic concepts of national and international prestige to an Italian airport for the first time: All'Antico Vinaio, EXKI and Lievito by Francesco Arnesano.

Three culinary excellences for an innovative offer
The new Food Court, which joins the two existing ones in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, is designed to meet the needs of an international audience with a wide and diversified proposal. New dining concepts include:
- All'Antico Vinaio: historic Florentine shop famous all over the world for its schiacciate stuffed with high quality ingredients.
- EXKI: a healthy bar with an international feel, dedicated to a healthy and sustainable offer.
- Lievito di Francesco Arnesano: a pizzeria by the slice that celebrates the Roman tradition, with slices of fragrant pizza and typical local ingredients.

A gastronomic proposal designed for travelers
The new Food Court reflects Avolta's commitment to transforming the traveler experience, offering dining solutions that combine excellence, tradition and innovation. With the arrival of these three prestigious brands, Rome Fiumicino strengthens its position as one of the most advanced airports in Europe, capable of offering a high-level culinary welcome to passengers in transit.

"Over the last few years we have innovated and diversified our brand portfolio also with the aim of growing in the Italian airport channel," commented Massimiliano Santoro, CEO Italy F&B of Avolta. "The diversification of the offer is central to remain attractive in a highly competitive market context and to offer those who pass through the airport proposals in line with new trends and able to satisfy any need".
"This initiative reaffirms the relevance of catering in the passenger experience, a key touchpoint in an evolutionary strategy that increasingly sees the customer 'at the center', commented Marilena Blasi, Chief Commercial BU of ADR. " In this context, the expansion of the brand portfolio, developed in a space with full visibility on runways and aircraft pads, creates an additional option, able to meet the needs of passengers from a food point of view but not only".
