Direct flights between Sharjah and Addis Ababa with Air Arabia
Three weekly connections from the UAE to Ethiopia operated with Airbus A320 aircraft
Air Arabia, a low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, opens a new direct route to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. As of January 30, 2025, flights connect Sharjah International Airport with Addis Ababa Bole International Airport three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
A bridge between the United Arab Emirates and Africa
The opening of this new route reinforces Air Arabia's commitment to expanding connections between the UAE and Africa, facilitating trade, investment and tourism between the two regions. Addis Ababa, a major cultural and commercial hub, is now more accessible thanks to a direct service from Sharjah.
