New route to Tirana from Lamezia Terme
Ryanair celebrates 15 million passengers with new travel opportunities and investments for Calabria
Ryanair has celebrated the milestone of 15 million passengers at Lamezia Terme Airport by announcing the new route to Tirana, which will operate with four weekly flights.
Since 2000, the company has contributed to the growth of air traffic and tourism in the region, also supported by the decision of the Calabria Region to eliminate the municipal surcharge. With an aircraft based on an investment of $100 million and more than 165 weekly flights on 12 routes, Ryanair continues to stimulate the local economy and employment by offering competitive fares and more frequent connections.
Marco Franchini, Sole Director of SACAL, he added: "For almost 25 years, Ryanair has been a strategic partner for Lamezia airport and Calabria, promoting the growth of air traffic and regional tourism. We are excited to celebrate 15 million passengers and welcome new routes that will further strengthen our commitment to travelers and the local economy."
