easyJet debuts in Rimini
easyJet has officially inaugurated its first flights at the "Federico Fellini" Airport of Rimini and San Marino, landing for the first time with connections from London (Gatwick) and Basel. Starting from 16 April, the two new routes are operational every Wednesday and Sunday, placing Rimini in the company's vast European network.
Already announced last November, the new routes strengthen easyJet's presence in Emilia-Romagna, supporting incoming tourism to the Romagna Riviera, appreciated for its mix of sea, culture, historic villages and typical gastronomy.
With the entry of Rimini, easyJet consolidates its commitment to the Italian market, where it already operates around 260 routes to and from 19 Italian airports, with a fleet of 38 aircraft based in Milan Malpensa, Naples, Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino.
This new stop to and from Rimini and San Marino Federico Fellini International Airport confirms easyJet's goal of offering more choice and connectivity to passengers and enhancing Italian destinations even outside the large traditional hubs.
