New Volotea route from Alghero to Bordeaux

The new flight will be available starting from 31 May, with 2 frequencies a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Among the novelties for 2025 is also the Alghero-Florence route, from 6 July
Volotea is preparing to take flight from Alghero with a new international destination, further enriching its offer. The airline, known for being among the fastest growing in Europe, announces the launch of the new Alghero - Bordeaux route, operated exclusively from 4 July 2025. With two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday, and over 6,100 seats available, this novelty adds to Volotea's already rich portfolio at Riviera del Corallo Airport, consolidating its strategic role in Sardinia's air connectivity.

For Alghero, Volotea has already put another exclusive connection on sale, this time to Florence. Starting July 6, 2025, flights to the Tuscan capital will take off twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday.

For the coming year, the company will offer a total of four destinations from Alghero Airport:
  • three national teams (Florence, Turin and Verona).
  • an international one (Bordeaux).

Present in all three Sardinian airports, Volotea stands out as a reference partner for tourism on the island, also operating territorial continuity connections, such as the Olbia - Rome Fiumicino route. This consolidated commitment strengthens the company's position as a protagonist in the promotion of tourism and air mobility in Sardinia.
