Wizz Air launches over 200 routes from Italy for summer 2025
The low-cost airline Wizz Air announces over 200 active routes for summer 2025. Flights will depart from five key airports : Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Venice Marco Polo, Naples and Catania, with destinations covering 32 countries across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
With more than 13 million seats available at low cost, Wizz Air strengthens its presence on the Italian market, offering new direct connections, more weekly frequencies and an increasingly widespread network.

Flights from Rome Fiumicino: new routes and focus on Spain and Greece
From the capital, Wizz Air will activate new direct flights to Zaragoza and Bilbao, as well as increase connections with:
- 14 flights a week to Madrid, Barcelona and London
- 9 to Valencia, 7 to Malaga, Seville and Lisbon
In addition to these, there are numerous flights to the Greek islands: Corfu, Mykonos, Santorini, Skiathos and Zakynthos, popular destinations for summer holidays.
Flights from Milan Malpensa: more flights to Spain and the Greek islands
Milan will also be strongly connected with Spain:
- 9 for Barcelona, 7 for Madrid, 5 for Malaga and Valencia
- plus 12 flights a week to London Gatwick

In the North-East, Venice airport consolidates itself as a strategic point, with daily frequencies to Madrid and Barcelona, among the most requested routes by travelers in the Triveneto.
According to Wizz Air's forecasts, Spain will be the most booked summer destination of 2025, thanks to the high number of routes and weekly frequencies available from all over Italy. Cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Seville and Valencia are among the most popular destinations for both city breaks and summer holidays.
All of Wizz Air's summer flights will be operated with the new Airbus A321neo, a 239-seat, highly fuel-efficient aircraft with reduced CO₂ emissions, in line with the airline's commitment to sustainable air mobility.
