Aeroporti di Puglia promotes culture and art
Reduced tickets for passengers, The Airport Pass holders and employees to the exhibition 'G7: Seven Centuries of Italian Art'
A month after the opening of the exhibition "G7: Seven centuries of Italian Art" at the Norman-Swabian Castle in Mesagne, Aeroporti di Puglia and MICExperience Rete d'Imprese have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote art and culture, improving the experience of passengers passing through Apulian airports.
Under this agreement, passengers arriving and departing from the airports of Bari, Brindisi and Foggia will be able to benefit from a reduction on the entrance ticket to the exhibition by presenting their travel document. The same benefit will be extended to holders of The Airport Pass, who will have to show the card, and to employees of Aeroporti di Puglia, who will be able to take advantage of the discount by showing their company card.
The exhibition "G7: Seven Centuries of Italian Art" is open until November 30, presents 51 works from both Italian and international museums and private collections, covering a period ranging from the fourteenth to the twentieth century. Among the works on display are masterpieces by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Perugino, Artemisia Gentileschi, Guido Reni, Canova, Canaletto, De Nittis and Burri.
Antonio Maria Vasile, President of Aeroporti di Puglia, underlined: "I am convinced that art and culture are a fundamental engine for the economic and social development of a territory. For this reason, Aeroporti di Puglia has long supported initiatives of this kind that enhance local excellence and strengthen the link between our territory and the rest of the world.
The G7 that was held last month in Puglia was an exceptional showcase for our region and it is good that in the wake of this success Mesagne hosts this exhibition, an interesting opportunity to show the world the wonders of Italian art, but above all to capitalize on all the work done. With our support, we want to reaffirm our commitment to promoting art and culture and I am convinced that passengers in transit from our airports will accept our invitation to visit the exhibition".
