flydubai's new Business Class Lounge in Dubai

flydubai, a Dubai-based airline, yesterday unveiled its new Business Class Lounge located at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB). The new lounge, designed to offer comfort and exclusive service, represents a further step in the airline's commitment to enhance the experience of its customers both on the ground and in the air.

 

 

The new flydubai Business Class Lounge covers an area of 900 square metres and can comfortably accommodate over 200 passengers. Strategically located after security and passport control, it offers direct access to the boarding gate dedicated to Business Class customers. Here, passengers can board the exclusive buses for a quick and seamless transfer to their flight.

The lounge's design is inspired by desert dunes, with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic characterized by warm tones and clean lines, typical of Dubai's most iconic skylines. The glass façade allows natural light to flood the space, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment.

 

 

Inside, the lounge is divided into specific areas to meet the different needs of travellers:

• Lounge area for relaxation,
• Dining room with international buffet and a la carte dining options,
• Quiet area dedicated to rest.

Passengers can enjoy several amenities, including private showers, a thoughtfully designed prayer room, free Wi-Fi, workstations, and numerous charging stations for electronic devices.

 

 

Emirates Skywards members, depending on their membership level, will be able to access exclusive benefits within the new lounge.

This opening follows another important development for flydubai: the introduction of the new dedicated Business Class check-in at Terminal 2, which opened last October. The space offers personalized Meet and Assist service, with seated check-in and Fast Track lanes for passports and security checks, ensuring a quick and efficient flow to premium travelers.

 

 

flydubai's new Business Class Lounge represents a significant enhancement to the airport experience for passengers, combining refined design, exclusive comfort and meticulous attention to detail. With dedicated services and direct boarding access, the airline continues to innovate and respond to the needs of modern travelers, consolidating its role in the international premium travel landscape.

 

 

 

The inauguration event was attended by key industry figures, including Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer of flydubai, H.E. Major-General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director-General of the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), Major-General Talal Ahmed Al Shanqiti, General Director Assistant of the GDRFA, Major-General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Acting Assistant Commandant for Ports Affairs, H.E. Jamal Al-Hai, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports and Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports .

flydubai has built a global network connecting over 125 destinations in 55 countries, including regions such as Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The airline has opened more than 90 new routes that were not previously directly connected to  Dubai, operating a modern fleet of 88 Boeing 737s.

For travellers from Italy, flydubai offers direct flights to Dubai from Milan Bergamo, Naples and Catania airports, as well as seasonal summer connections from Olbia and Pisa.
