Christmas magic in Innsbruck

The Tyrolean city comes alive with spectacular lights, Christmas events and timeless traditions
Also this year, from November 15th to January 6th, Innsbruck is transformed into an enchanting wonderland, where Austrian tradition blends with modernity and the art of illuminations. In addition to the 51st edition of the famous Christmas Markets, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Marktplatz market and the spectacular light installation of the Lumagica light park.
During this time, the city offers a rich program with parades of angels and devils, musical performances, living nativity scenes, Christmas trains and the exciting Carillon of Peace with its 48 bells. It all culminates with the New Year's Eve celebrations, an event not to be missed.

Another highlight is the Maria-Theresien-Straße market, open from 25 November to 6 January, with a modern and cosmopolitan atmosphere with designer stands and original gifts.

This year's theme, "Peace, love, family", will be represented through fairytale figures, fantastic animals and Christmas symbols, all accompanied by an interactive path that will involve adults and children. The experience will be enriched by refreshment points where you can enjoy hot chocolate and mulled wine immersed in the enchanted atmosphere.
