Trade fairs in Vienna in September, October and November
Vienna welcomes autumn with Art at the Park, from 5 to 8 September at the Park Hyatt Vienna Hotel, in the heart of the Goldenes Quartier. The event hosts 19 galleries and over 500 works for sale that span Austrian art , from nineteenth-century cityscapes to contemporary expressions. Afterwards, from 12 to 15 September, viennacontemporary celebrates its tenth anniversary by moving to Hall D of Messe Wien. With around 90 galleries and a focus on Central and Eastern European art, women artists and works from the late twentieth century, this fair offers a unique look at contemporary art.
In the same period, the Kursalon in Vienna will host Particolare, a sort of modern art salon where artists will explore the relationship with the public and new ways of interacting in space through their works.

October opens with Fair For Art Vienna, the contemporary art fair scheduled from 5 to 13 at the Aula der Wissenschaften, while from 7 to 11 November the historic Hofburg will host Art&Antique, with over 40 galleries exhibiting antiques and design works. In parallel, from 8 to 10 November, the MAK - Museum of Applied Arts will be the venue for Blickfang Wien, a fair dedicated to interior design, fashion and jewellery with brands from all over the world.

Design week in Vienna
From September 20 to 29, 2024, Vienna Design Week returns for its 18th edition, with exhibitions, workshops, installations and guided tours taking place mainly in Landstrasse in the third district. Among the scheduled events, Passionswege stands out, a format that favors the meeting between local and international designers and Viennese artisans, creating new connections and spreading skills and knowledge. Art and museums open in Vienna
Vienna offers many cultural initiatives to bring young and old closer to art, such as the Lange Nacht Der Museen ("Long Night of the Museums") on October 5, with museums and galleries open until midnight and accessible with a single ticket.
For photography enthusiasts, the Rotlicht Festival for Analog Photography will take place from November 15 to 24 at the Atelierhaus of the Academy of Fine Arts, bringing together the local and international analog photography scene.
Between September and October, the 16th edition of Curated by, the largest art gallery festival in Austria, will also be held, involving 24 emerging and established Viennese galleries, attracting curators from all over the world.
