"Memorable. Hyperfashion": fashion turns into art at MAXXI in Rome
A journey through beauty and sustainability with Bonaveri mannequins of excellence protagonists of the great maisons
Rome celebrates the narrative power of fashion with the exhibition "Memorable. Ipermoda", hosted at MAXXI, the National Museum of XXI Century Arts. The exhibition, curated by Maria Luisa Frisa in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, explores the connections between fashion, contemporaneity and memory through a unique installation featuring 55 Bonaveri mannequins, a world leader in the production of high-quality mannequins.

In this exhibition, Bonaveri mannequins are transformed into real works of art, capable of amplifying the message contained in the clothes on display. The Sartorial and Atelier collections stand out for the elegance of the lines and the attention to detail: linen fabrics, raw wood arms and a manufacture that recalls the excellence of Italian tailoring workshops.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover how mannequins, from simple supports, evolve into poetic interpreters that enhance creations by maisons such as Armani Privé, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada, in dialogue with independent design, art and contemporary culture.

"Memorable. Ipermoda" does not limit itself to celebrating the beauty of clothes, but addresses crucial issues such as sustainability and the archiving of fashion as a historical memory and vision of the future. Clothes and accessories become autonomous works that tell stories, emotions and visions, making fashion a universal language that crosses time and space.
Founded in 1950, Bonaveri represents Italian excellence in the production of mannequins, combining craftsmanship, aesthetic research and sustainability. The company has reduced CO2 emissions by 40% thanks to an innovative photovoltaic system, demonstrating its commitment to a more responsible future.

The exhibition at MAXXI is an unmissable opportunity to discover how Bonaveri continues to redefine the role of the mannequin, taking it from the world of fashion to that of art, and to reflect on the cultural and social significance of fashion today.
