Bari Airport, BRI

Bari International Airport, dedicated to Karol Wojtyla, is located about 9 km from the city of Bari and also serves the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, in addition to the provinces of Foggia, Matera, Potenza and Taranto.

The airport covers an area of approximately 30,000 square meters on five levels. Since 2015, the new east area of the passenger terminal has been operational, which covers about 13,000 square meters with gates and commercial spaces.

In addition to the new terminal, it has flight infrastructures (aircraft parking aprons, runway, etc.) which in recent years have been extensively redeveloped and enhanced.

In addition to the infrastructure implementation and qualification process, Bari Airport has recorded a steady increase in passenger traffic in recent years, thanks to the strengthening of national connections and the start of scheduled connections between the city of Bari and the main European destinations.
