easyJet flights to and from Southern Italy
For summer 2025 four new routes: Bari-Lyon, Brindisi-Lyon, Palermo-Lisbon and Lamezia Terme-Paris Orly
For the 2025 summer season, easyJet announces the launch of four new routes that will connect Southern Italy with some of the main European cities: Bari-Lyon, Brindisi-Lyon, Palermo-Lisbon and Lamezia Terme-Paris Orly. This expansion aims to further enhance the connectivity of Southern Italy, a strategic area for the low-cost carrier, already present with an operational base in Naples and connections from key airports such as Bari, Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Lampedusa, Olbia, Palermo and Salerno.
Bari and Brindisi: new connections with Lyon
Starting from May 23, 2025, passengers departing from Bari will be able to reach Lyon with three weekly frequencies every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A few days later, from 5 June 2025, it will also be possible to fly from Brindisi to Lyon with two weekly frequencies on Thursdays and Sundays. With these additions, the routes operated by easyJet from Bari airport and those from Brindisi airport rise to 7, further consolidating the company's presence in the region.
Palermo: a bridge between Sicily and Lisbon
From 3 June 2025, the new Palermo - Lisbon connection will be active, which includes two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Fridays. This route will allow Sicilian passengers to comfortably reach the Portuguese capital, a vibrant city full of attractions. The route will also offer easy access to unique destinations in Sicily, such as the beach of Mondello and the picturesque village of Cefalù, among the most beautiful in Italy. This new route brings to 15 the destinations reachable from Palermo with easyJet, which continues to expand its network from Sicily. Recent additions include the connection to Palma de Mallorca, one of the most popular destinations for summer tourism.
Lamezia Terme: direct flights to Paris Orly
easyJet strengthens its presence in Calabria with the new Lamezia Terme - Paris (Orly) connection, operational from 21 May 2025 with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This new connection is in addition to the route to Nice, inaugurated last December, bringing to 5 the destinations served by easyJet from Lamezia Terme airport to Italy and Europe.
A strategic expansion in Southern Italy
With over 250 connections from 18 Italian airports, the easyJet airline confirms itself as one of the leading carriers in the Italian market. The new routes to Southern Italy reinforce the company's commitment to improving international connections to regions such as Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, enhancing the tourist and cultural potential of these areas. Flights are already available for booking on the easyJet.com website and via the company's mobile app.
