Brindisi

Brindisi Airport, or Salento Airport, is a structure of strategic importance serving a wide area that includes not only the province of Brindisi, but also that of Lecce and Taranto. The airport connects the city of Brindisi to Italian and European destinations.

 

During 2018 was inaugurated the expansion of the Brindisi airport and now it has five additional gates and a new security area.
 
The future expansion plan of Brindisi Airport provides new AVL plants on the two runways, a new control tower, aircrafts parking apron and boarding lounges with additional gates located on the first floor of the terminal, another ramp will lead to car parks, accessible from arrivals and departures (land side area).
 
Aeroporti di Puglia S.p.A. is the company that manages the Apulia's airports of Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto Grottaglie, which together constitute the Apulian airport network.
