Eurowings launches its own tour operator
From 1 April 2025, the German airline has been offering travel packages with flexible and tailor-made flights, hotels and holiday services thanks to advanced technologies and AI
A new chapter for Eurowings, the German airline that expands its offer by launching Eurowings Holidays GmbH, a tour operator that will offer complete travel packages, combining flights, hotels and additional services in a single booking. Operations will officially begin on April 1, 2025, marking an important evolution in the tourism market.
A strategic integration for tailor-made tourism
Eurowings Holidays was born from the acquisition of the personnel and IT infrastructure of Karlheinz Kögel, an industry pioneer and founder of the HLX Group. Around 100 tourism experts, including 50 former employees of Binoli GmbH, will work in the new company, which aims to offer flexible and tailor-made holidays for more than 20 million Eurowings customers. Thanks to the synergy with Eurowings Digital GmbH, the company will integrate advanced technologies, artificial intelligence and data analysis to optimize the travel experience.
Eurowings has developed into a leading airline for tourism, with a strong presence in key destinations such as Mallorca, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne and Stuttgart. With Eurowings Holidays, it now aims to become one of the top ten German tour operators. Eurowings Holidays packages will guarantee travellers attractive fares, reduced deposits and the possibility to rebook or cancel on flexible terms.

It has a fleet of around 100 aircraft and offers direct flights to more than 150 destinations in Europe. With its route network and 13 international bases, including Palma de Mallorca (Germans' favourite holiday destination), Eurowings is Germany's largest holiday airline.
