Dubai DXB remains the world's busiest airport

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is confirmed, for the eleventh consecutive year, as the busiest airport in the world for international passengers. This is certified by the Airports Council International (ACI), which for 2024 recorded a transit of 92.3 million passengers, a result that consolidates the airport's historical record and establishes a new global reference for international traffic at a single airport.

The figure, however impressive, represents only the surface of a much larger success. As Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, points out, this is a recognition that reflects Dubai's strategic and symbolic role, not only as a connecting hub, but as a global destination for tourism, business and daily life.
