New flight Ancona - Barcelona
The connection is offered by the airline Volotea with two weekly frequencies, every Monday and Friday
Volotea takes off in Ancona and has inaugurated the first flight to Barcelona from Ancona airport. The low-cost airline will offer passengers the opportunity to reach the Catalan capital with two weekly flights, every Monday and Friday, for a total of over 31,000 seats available. With this new connection, Volotea brings the international destinations served by the Marche airport to two, adding Barcelona to the already twice-weekly flight to Paris (Orly).
"It is a pleasure to expand the offer of destinations to and from Ancona Airport, generating new tourist flows and increasing the connection of our territory with the main European destinations," said the CEO of Ancona International Airport, Alexander D'Orsogna. "The partnership with Volotea, which has been strengthened in recent years, has brought significant results for the airport and the entire local tourism sector and we hope for further developments with the introduction of new routes."
